To view someone’s profile picture (DP) on Snapchat, you need to first search for the person using the search bar and then add them as a friend. Follow the below steps to someone’s friendship profile on Snapchat:
Step 1: Search on Snapchat & Add as a friend
The initial step to view someone’s Snapchat profile is to search for the user on Snapchat and then send a friend request. Once the user accepts your request, you’ll become friends on Snapchat.
Snapchat doesn’t permit you to view private profiles unless they are on your friend list.
Here are the steps you need to follow on Snapchat to add someone as a friend:

1: Open the Snapchat application. If you don’t have the Snapchat app, download it from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
2: Log in to your Snapchat account by entering your login credentials correctly and clicking on login.
3: Once logged in, you’ll access your account.
4: At the top of the home page, locate the search box.
5: Enter the username of the person whose profile you want to visit, then search for them.
6: In the search results, find the Add icon next to the user’s name and click on it.
Step 2: Open his Chat on Snapchat
When you add someone on Snapchat, they receive a friend request from you. If they accept the request, you’ll be able to view their profile details on their profile page. Therefore, wait for them to accept your friend request to become friends.
Once the user accepts your friend request, you can find them in the chat window of your profile’s chat section. From there, you’ll need to open their chat to proceed to the next step.

2: In the chat list, locate the name of the person you’ve added as a friend.
3: Click on the user’s name to open the chat screen.
4: If you haven’t chatted with the person yet on Snapchat, the chat screen will appear as a white blank.
Step 3: Tap on Bitmoji on chat
After opening the chat screen, you’ll see any messages exchanged with the user, if there are any. If you haven’t chatted with the person after they accepted your friend request, the chat screen may be blank.
At the top of the chat screen, you’ll find the Bitmoji of the user next to their name. Within the chat screen, you’ll have various options to send stickers, messages, voice messages, etc. Additionally, you can initiate voice calls and video calls with the user directly from the chat screen.
To access the profile page of the user using this method, click on the Bitmoji icon.
Step 4: You can view the user’s profile & DP
When you click on the user’s profile Bitmoji icon at the top of the chat screen, it will open their profile page. At the top of the profile page, you’ll see the user’s profile Bitmoji icon, followed by their username.
On the profile page, you’ll find the user’s snap score displayed just below the Bitmoji icon, along with their zodiac sign. As you scroll down the page, you’ll come across the Snap Map of the user, provided they haven’t enabled Ghost Mode.
Can you view your Snapchat profile without adding it?
If a person’s Snapchat profile is public and you haven’t added them, you can still view their profile details by searching for them and accessing their profile page. However, if the user has a private profile, you won’t be able to see their profile details, such as their snap score, without adding them.
Public profiles on Snapchat also share public stories visible to all Snapchat users. However, if the stories are private and only viewable by the user’s friends, you won’t be able to see them without adding the user.
Keep in mind that you can only view the snap score of a user with a private profile after they add you back on Snapchat. Therefore, to see each other’s snap score and location, you’ll need to be mutual friends on Snapchat if your profiles are private.
